Ferrari F8 Spider With Carbon Widebody Costs More Than An SF90

For Sale / 7 Comments

Said to be one of a kind, the tuned supercar is on sale for $649,000.

Phoenix-based dealership Creative Bespoke recently listed a "one of one" Ferrari F8 Spider with over $200,000 worth of modifications. Forged wheels, carbon fiber body panels, a custom interior, and mild performance upgrades apparently translate to a $649,000 car. A Ferrari SF90 Spider costs considerably less and has considerably more power.

Indeed, that's a lot of money for a mid-tier supercar that is far from original, but if you're into the idea of a flashy Ferrari that is said to have no equal, this could be the ideal way to stand out in a crowd. Just ensure you use it properly - the previous owner only accumulated 709 miles since this car's registration as a 2021 model.

As standard, the 3.9-liter twin-turbo V9 in the F8 produces 710 horsepower. This example has received a "full race exhaust" and a stage 2 performance tune, suggesting well over 750 hp is now on tap. Sport lowering springs have also been fitted, but something tells us this was done for aesthetics rather than for performance, as all the remaining modifications for us to list are centered on cosmetics.

Since we're in the area, let's start with the wheels. These are custom, fully polished MV Forged Aero+ AR-100 wheels measuring 22 inches in diameter at the back and 21 inches in front.

The big changes happen to the body, where a bespoke carbon fiber widebody kit comprises a front bumper with a carbon lip, a rear bumper with a carbon diffuser, carbon fiber fenders front and rear, and carbon fiber side skirts.

Inside, the factory interior carbon package was specified, including the stunning Ferrari carbon steering wheel, fitting the theme of the exterior. A custom quilted bison leather interior finished in red completes the attention-grabbing look.

But back to our original question: is this worth $650k?

You can find used models selling for under half a million. Add in 200 grand for mods, and this model seems fairly priced. You just need slightly eccentric tastes to pull it off.
